After proof-reading the magazine and asking friends and family to check it and offer guidance, I have finally completed the 28-page magazine, which can be found here.
I am very pleased with the number of pages which it includes, completing 28 pages over 2 weeks, and I think that there is enough varied content included.
I will ask for an extension in order to hand in the final, printed magazines (printed with the technician, Ruth) in a few days. I also need to purchase the washing tablets to accompany the magazines.
The magazine combines many different types of activities, including colouring, cutting an sticking, a dot to dot, wordsearch and drawing tasks. The magazine has used lots of different magazines and books as inspiration, in order to maintain the child-like feel, and the primary colours reinforce the idea of childhood, despite the content being more ‘grown up.’
